Indonesia is one of the best and largest coffee producing countries in the world. Most of the coffee produced is robusta, followed by arabica coffee. Indonesian coffee is grown on the fringe of volcanic soil, so it has a unique aroma and taste. The Indonesian coffee industry is dominated by smallholder farmers encompassing 98% of the total area, averaging between 1 and 2 hectares per plantation.
At Jaad we source coffee direct from the farming communities around Indonesia. Following is a list of areas from where our Arabica specialty coffee comes from plus we also source high altitude grown Robusta and specialty Liberica which is used to blend with Arabic Qahwa.
